We are creating a home for Canada’s best builders to reach their full potential. A 36-hour experience where 50 builders live under one roof, collaborating with companies and sponsors to turn bold ideas into real products.

I organized Canada's largest AI hackathon for 1,200+ hackers, and a smaller one with 100 hackers! When founding SOON, I wanted it to be the most memorable hackathon ever. We will create spaces where hackers can bond organically and show off their best abilities.

Hackathons usually feel like conference halls — rows of tables under fluorescent lights. We wanted the opposite: a space where hackers actually bond, hang out, and build side by side. A house makes SOON feel like home.
Beyond building, expect workshops, mentor office hours, mini-games, and plenty of unstructured time to meet other builders. We're designing the weekend so the moments between the code are just as memorable.
Anyone passionate about building is welcome — students, self-taught hackers, and first-timers included. The event is hosted in person; exact location and travel details go out to accepted hackers closer to the date.
