Starting 2026, I have been to 15 hackathons in a row, won 7, and hosted 3. I know exactly what a great hackathon looks like! I organized Canada's largest AI hackathon for 1,200+ hackers, and a smaller one with 100 hackers! When founding SOON, I wanted it to be the most memorable hackathon ever. We will create spaces where hackers can bond organically and show off their best abilities.

Everyone has been to hackathons on campus — SOON is designed to feel like a builder retreat, with everyone building, eating, resting, and spending time together under one roof.
SOON is open to everyone across all education levels and industries. All hackers must be 18 years old or older by the time of the hackathon.
SOON will take place at a private venue around the Greater Toronto Area. The exact address will only be shared with accepted participants.
Yes. SOON is a 48-hour experience, and participants will be able to remain at the house overnight. Hackers will have a chance to request private bedroom accommodation.
Bring your laptop, charger, identification, toiletries, comfortable clothes, and anything you need to build your project. Depending on the venue, you might be encouraged to bring swimsuits, sports equipment, snacks, and more.
SOON will have a participation fee due to the exclusiveness of the event, with the final amount to be announced closer to the event. Scholarships will also be available.
